The Crow (2024)

A Critical Waste Of Potential

A Review

Read Time: < 1 min read

Rating: 1 out of 5.

What a fucking waste.

Forget a candle, this doesn’t even hold a matchstick to the original.

Every major plot point in this movie felt like wandering into Bed Bath & Beyond, desperately asking every employee, including the manager, what “beyond” actually means, only for all of them to respond with vague, empty assurances like, “It’s great!”—and nothing more.

The character arcs? Totally unnatural and lacking any real progression. It’s as if the writers just slapped on some half-baked drama without bothering to connect the dots. And don’t even get me started on the soundtrack—it felt like every scene was designed around a cliché, lipstick-smeared “love me, I’m broken” note scrawled across a bathroom mirror. Cringe doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Boring, unimaginative, and utterly pointless. It’s like the movie tried to say something but forgot what it was halfway through. Skip this one—it’s not worth the energy.

Upside Down (2012)

Physics? Never heard of her. This visually stunning fever dream trades rules for ravishing aesthetics, spinning a tale of star-crossed lovers (literally) across twin worlds. The plot holes are black holes, but the artistry is magnetic—ideal for those who prefer passion over plausibility.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014)

Reboots, retcons, and Megan Fox’s questionable enthusiasm—this TMNT leans into absurdity with charm. The turtles’ banter and action scenes save it, proving some franchises thrive on pure fun. Leave logic at the door; embrace the childhood joy of mutant martial arts.

Twisters (2024)

This film is a cringeworthy blend of clichés, terrible dialogue, and unlikable characters. With every trope imaginable, it’s more parody than story. The soundtrack is unbearable, and the “E-5” tornado finishes off any remaining credibility.
